A letter from Jess

I wish I could sit across the table from every person who considers giving to SongShare. If you had the time, I’d probably keep you there way too long telling you about the people you’re actually supporting.

I’d tell you about the mother who thought her dream had to take a back seat because now it was her job to prioritize her kids and theirs. The father who realized investing in himself wasn’t taking away from his family—it was showing them what it looks like to pursue something with the people you love.

The worship leader who stepped out of a creative rut to try something new. The artist who took a chance on themselves and bet on their own voice. The writer who realized they really do have something to say—and that their words can reach farther than they know.

When I think about SongShare, I don’t see numbers. I see people.

My heart is to give those people a place to belong while they’re still becoming—people in their corner, room to take chances, and access to opportunities that remind them their gifts are worth investing in.

Everything given to or earned through SongShare goes right back into creating more of that. So if you choose to give, thank you. You’re helping us say yes to real people and the dreams they’re brave enough to keep pursuing.

I’ll never take that lightly.
